9Es war aber daselbst ein Prophet Jahwes, Namens Oded. Der ging hinaus, trat vor das Heer, das heimkam nach Samaria, und sprach zu ihnen: Fürwahr, infolge des Zornes Jahwes, des Gottes eurer Väter, auf die Judäer hat er sie in eure Gewalt gegeben, so daß ihr ein Gemetzel unter ihnen anrichten konntet, mit einer Wut, die bis zum Himmel reichte.

9Había entonces allí un profeta de Jehová, que se llamaba Obed, el cual salió delante del ejército cuando entraba en Samaria, y díjoles: He aquí Jehová el Dios de vuestros padres, por el enojo contra Judá, los ha entregado en vuestras manos; y vosotros los habéis muerto con ira, que hasta el cielo ha llegado.

9But a prophet of the LORD was there, whose name was Oded: and he went out before the host that came to Samaria, and said unto them, Behold, because the LORD God of your fathers was wroth with Judah, he hath delivered them into your hand, and ye have slain them in a rage that reacheth up unto heaven.
