Pues Acaz había saqueado la casa del SEÑOR y las casas del rey y de los líderes, para darle las cosas valiosas a los reyes de Asiria. Pero hacer esto no lo benefició a él.

Aunque despojó Achâz la casa de Jehová, y la casa real, y las de los príncipes, para dar al rey de los Asirios, con todo eso él no le ayudó.

For Ahaz took away a portion out of the house of the LORD, and out of the house of the king, and of the princes, and gave it unto the king of Assyria: but he helped him not.
