2Ele fez o que era reto aos olhos de Yahweh, seguindo o exemplo de seu pai, Uzias, em tudo. Ele também se negou a entrar no Templo de Yahweh. Mas o povo prosseguiu em suas práticas malignas.

2E hizo lo recto en ojos de Jehová, conforme á todas las cosas que había hecho Uzzías su padre, salvo que no entró en el templo de Jehová. Y el pueblo falseaba aún.
King James Version
2And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Uzziah did: howbeit he entered not into the temple of the LORD. And the people did yet corruptly.
World English Bible
2He did that which was right in the LORD’s eyes, according to all that his father Uzziah had done. However he didn’t enter into the LORD’s temple. The people still acted corruptly.
