Fabbricò ancora delle torri nel deserto, e scavò moltissime cisterne, perchè avea molti bestiami tanto nelle campagne, come nel vasto deserto: egli ebbe anche delle vigne, e de' vignaiuoli sui monti, e sul Carmelo: perocché era un uomo molto intento all'agricoltura.
Asimismo edificó torres en el desierto, y abrió muchas cisternas: porque tuvo muchos ganados, así en los valles como en las vegas; y viñas, y labranzas, así en los montes como en los llanos fértiles; porque era amigo de la agricultura.
Also he built towers in the desert, and digged many wells: for he had much cattle, both in the low country, and in the plains: husbandmen also, and vine dressers in the mountains, and in Carmel: for he loved husbandry.
He built towers in the wilderness, and dug out many cisterns, for he had much livestock, both in the lowlands and in the plains. He had farmers and vineyard keepers in the mountains and in the fruitful fields, for he loved farming.
