Además, Amasías reunió a Judá y los organizó según sus casas paternas, bajo jefes de millares y jefes de centenas, por todo Judá y Benjamín. Hizo un censo de los de veinte años para arriba, y halló trescientos mil hombres escogidos, aptos para salir a la guerra, que sabían manejar la lanza y el escudo.
