19Du denkst, du habest ja die Edomiter geschlagen, und nun bist du übermütig geworden und willst dir noch mehr Ruhm erwerben. Bleibe doch jetzt daheim! Warum willst du dich ins Unglück stürzen, dass du zu Falle kommst, du und Juda mit dir?

19Tú dices: He aquí he herido á Edom; y tu corazón se enaltece para gloriarte: ahora estáte en tu casa; ¿para qué te entrometes en mal, para caer tú y Judá contigo?

19Thou sayest, Lo, thou hast smitten the Edomites; and thine heart lifteth thee up to boast: abide now at home; why shouldest thou meddle to thine hurt, that thou shouldest fall, even thou, and Judah with thee?

19You say to yourself that you have struck Edom; and your heart lifts you up to boast. Now stay at home. Why should you meddle with trouble, that you should fall, even you and Judah with you?’”
