22Et le roi Joas ne se souvint pas de l'amour que lui avait témoigné Joiada, son père, et il fut le meurtrier de son fils. Et en mourant celui-ci dit : L'Éternel voit et redemandera.

22Thus Joash the king remembered not the kindness which Jehoiada his father had done to him, but slew his son. And when he died, he said, The LORD look upon it, and require it.
World English Bible
22Thus Joash the king didn’t remember the kindness which Jehoiada his father had done to him, but killed his son. When he died, he said, “May the LORD look at it, and repay it.”
