20Da kam der Geist Gottes über Sacharja, den Sohn Jojadas, des Priesters, so daß er wider das Volk auftrat und zu ihnen sprach: So spricht Gott: Warum übertretet ihr die Gebote des HERRN? Das bringt euch kein Glück, denn weil ihr den HERRN verlassen habt, wird er euch auch verlassen!

20And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, which stood above the people, and said unto them, Thus saith God, Why transgress ye the commandments of the LORD, that ye cannot prosper? because ye have forsaken the LORD, he hath also forsaken you.

20The Spirit of God came on Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest; and he stood above the people, and said to them, “God says, ‘Why do you disobey the LORD’s commandments, so that you can’t prosper? Because you have forsaken the LORD, he has also forsaken you.’”
