20Un día, el espíritu de Dios descendió sobre Zacarías hijo de Joyadá, el cual convocó a una reunión de todo el pueblo. Parado sobre una plataforma delante de ellos, les dijo: «Esto es lo que dice el Señor: ¿Por qué desobedecen ustedes mis mandamientos? Todo lo que consiguen con su actitud es que les vaya mal. ¡Como ustedes me han abandonado, yo también los abandonaré a ustedes!».

20Y el espíritu de Dios envistió á Zachârías, hijo de Joiada el sacerdote, el cual estando sobre el pueblo, les dijo: Así ha dicho Dios: ¿Por qué quebrantáis los mandamientos de Jehová? No os vendrá bien de ello; porque por haber dejado á Jehová, él también os dejará.

20And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, which stood above the people, and said unto them, Thus saith God, Why transgress ye the commandments of the LORD, that ye cannot prosper? because ye have forsaken the LORD, he hath also forsaken you.

20The Spirit of God came on Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest; and he stood above the people, and said to them, “God says, ‘Why do you disobey the LORD’s commandments, so that you can’t prosper? Because you have forsaken the LORD, he has also forsaken you.’”
