11Und jedesmal, wenn er die Lade durch die Leviten zu der königlichen Aufsichtsbehörde bringen ließ, wenn sie nämlich sahen, daß des Geldes viel war, kam der Schreiber des Königs und der Beauftragte des Hohenpriesters; die leerten die Lade und trugen sie dann wieder an ihren Ort. So thaten sie Tag für Tag und sammelten eine Menge Geld.

11Y como venía el tiempo para llevar el arca al magistrado del rey por mano de los Levitas, cuando veían que había mucho dinero, venía el escriba del rey, y el que estaba puesto por el sumo sacerdote, y llevaban el arca, y vaciábanla, y volvíanla á su lugar: y así lo hacían de día en día, y recogían mucho dinero;

11Now it came to pass, that at what time the chest was brought unto the king’s office by the hand of the Levites, and when they saw that there was much money, the king’s scribe and the high priest’s officer came and emptied the chest, and took it, and carried it to his place again. Thus they did day by day, and gathered money in abundance.
