11Und wenn es Zeit war, die Lade durch die Leviten zu der königlichen Behörde zu bringen, und wenn man sah, daß viel Geld darin war, so kamen der Schreiber des Königs und der Verordnete des Oberpriesters und leerten die Lade und trugen sie wieder an ihren Ort. Also taten sie von Zeit zu Zeit, so daß sie viel Geld zusammenbrachten.

11Y como venía el tiempo para llevar el arca al magistrado del rey por mano de los Levitas, cuando veían que había mucho dinero, venía el escriba del rey, y el que estaba puesto por el sumo sacerdote, y llevaban el arca, y vaciábanla, y volvíanla á su lugar: y así lo hacían de día en día, y recogían mucho dinero;

11Now it came to pass, that at what time the chest was brought unto the king’s office by the hand of the Levites, and when they saw that there was much money, the king’s scribe and the high priest’s officer came and emptied the chest, and took it, and carried it to his place again. Thus they did day by day, and gathered money in abundance.
