Y salióle al encuentro Jehú el vidente, hijo de Hanani, y dijo al rey Josaphat: ¿Al impío das ayuda, y amas á los que aborrecen á Jehová? Pues la ira de la presencia de Jehová será sobre ti por ello.

Abitò adunque Josaphat in Gerusalemme: e andò di nuovo a visitare il popolo da Bersabee fino alle montagne di Ephraim, e li fe' ritornare al Signore Dio de' padri loro.
Habitó pues Josaphat en Jerusalem; mas daba vuelta y salía al pueblo, desde Beer-seba hasta el monte de Ephraim, y reducíalos á Jehová el Dios de sus padres.

Sia con voi il timor del Signore, e fate ogni cosa con esattezza: imperocché ingiustizia non è presso al Signore Dio nostro, né accettazione di persone, né bramosia di doni.

E parimente in Gerusalemme Josaphat nominò dei Leviti, e dei sacerdoti, e dei capi delle famiglie d'Israele, affinchè a nome del Signore rendesser ragione a' suoi cittadini.
Y puso también Josaphat en Jerusalem algunos de los Levitas y sacerdotes, y de los padres de familias de Israel, para el juicio de Jehová y para las causas. Y volviéronse á Jerusalem.
Moreover in Jerusalem did Jehoshaphat set of the Levites, and of the priests, and of the chief of the fathers of Israel, for the judgment of the LORD, and for controversies, when they returned to Jerusalem.

E intimò loro, e disse: Vi diporterete con fedeltà, e con cuore perfetto nel timor del Signore.

In qualunque lite tra famiglia, e famiglia de' vostri fratelli dimoranti nelle loro città, la qual lite sia portata a voi, ogni volta che si tratti della legge, de' comandamenti, delle cerimonie, o de' precetti, voi gl'istruirete, affinchè non pecchino contro il Signore, e affinchè non piombi l'ira di Dio sopra di voi, e sopra i vostri fratelli: e così facendo non peccherete.
En cualquier causa que viniere á vosotros de vuestros hermanos que habitan en las ciudades, entre sangre y sangre, entre ley y precepto, estatutos y derechos, habéis de amonestarles que no pequen contra Jehová, porque no venga ira sobre vosotros y sobre vuestros hermanos. Obrando así no pecaréis.
And what cause soever shall come to you of your brethren that dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and judgments, ye shall even warn them that they trespass not against the LORD, and so wrath come upon you, and upon your brethren: this do, and ye shall not trespass.
Whenever any controversy comes to you from your brothers who dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and ordinances, you must warn them, that they not be guilty toward the LORD, and so wrath come on you and on your brothers. E Amaria Sacerdote, e Pontefice vostro avrà giurisdizione in tutto quello che spetta al Signore: e Zabadia figliuolo d'Ismahel, principe della casa di Giuda, presiederà a tutti gli affari riguardanti l'officio del re: e avete con voi per maestri i Leviti: fatevi cuore, e siate diligenti, e il Signore sarà con voi, e faravvi del bene. Gli Ammoniti, i Moabiti, e i Siri muovon guerra a Josaphat, il quale, intimato il digiuno, ricorre supplichevole a Dio insieme col suo popolo, ed è liberato da' nemici, i quali si trucidano tra di loro, e ne acquista le spoglie. E' ripreso dal Profeta per aver fatta alleanza coll'empio Ochozia.
Y he aquí Amarías sacerdote será el que os presida en todo negocio de Jehová; y Zebadías hijo de Ismael, príncipe de la casa de Judá, en todos los negocios del rey; también los Levitas serán oficiales en presencia de vosotros. Esforzaos pues, y obrad; que Jehová será con el bueno.
