Im neununddreißigsten Jahre seiner Regierung erkrankte Asa an den Füßen, und seine Krankheit war überaus heftig. Aber auch in dieser seiner Krankheit suchte er nicht Hilfe bei Jahwe, sondern bei den Ärzten.

Y el año treinta y nueve de su reinado enfermó Asa de los pies para arriba, y en su enfermedad no buscó á Jehová, sino á los médicos.

And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceeding great: yet in his disease he sought not to the LORD, but to the physicians.

In the thirty-ninth year of his reign, Asa was diseased in his feet. His disease was exceedingly great; yet in his disease he didn’t seek the LORD, but just the physicians.
