Da kam über Asarja, den Sohn Odels, der Geist Gottes;

Y FUÉ el espíritu de Dios sobre Azarías hijo de Obed;

And the Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded:

und er ging hinaus, Asa entgegen, und sprach zu ihm: Höret mich an, Asa und ihr alle von Juda und Benjamin! Der Herr ist mit euch, wenn ihr zu ihm haltet, und wenn ihr ihn sucht, so wird er sich von euch finden lassen; wenn ihr ihn aber verlasst, so wird er euch verlassen. (a) 1Ch 28:9; Jer 29:13 14

Y salió al encuentro á Asa, y díjole: Oidme, Asa, y todo Judá y Benjamín: Jehová es con vosotros, si vosotros fuereis con él: y si le buscareis, será hallado de vosotros; mas si le dejareis, él también os dejará.

And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; The LORD is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.

Als es aber in Not geriet, kehrte es um zum Herrn, dem Gott Israels; sie suchten ihn, und er liess sich von ihnen finden.

But when they in their trouble did turn unto the LORD God of Israel, and sought him, he was found of them.

In jenen Zeiten konnte man nicht sicher ein und aus gehen; denn grosse Unruhen waren über alle Bewohner jener Länder hereingebrochen,

En aquellos tiempos no hubo paz, ni para el que entraba, ni para el que salía, sino muchas aflicciones sobre todos los habitadores de las tierras.

And in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the countries.

und es schlug sich ein Volk mit dem andern und eine Stadt mit der andern; denn Gott beunruhigte sie durch allerlei Not.

And nation was destroyed of nation, and city of city: for God did vex them with all adversity.

Ihr aber, seid tapfer und lasset eure Hände nicht schlaff werden! denn euer Tun wird schon seinen Lohn finden.

Esforzaos empero vosotros, y no desfallezcan vuestras manos; que salario hay para vuestra obra.

Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.

But you be strong! Don’t let your hands be slack, for your work will be rewarded.”

Als Asa diese Worte und die Weissagung hörte, die der Prophet Asarja, der Sohn Odels, gesprochen hatte, da ermannte er sich und schaffte die Scheusale aus dem ganzen Lande Juda und Benjamin hinweg, auch aus den Städten, die er auf dem Gebirge Ephraim eingenommen hatte, und stellte den Altar wieder her, der vor der Tempelvorhalle stand.

Y como oyó Asa las palabras y profecía de Obed profeta, fué confortado, y quitó las abominaciones de toda la tierra de Judá y de Benjamín, y de las ciudades que él había tomado en el monte de Ephraim; y reparó el altar de Jehová que estaba delante del pórtico de Jehová.

And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of the LORD, that was before the porch of the LORD.

Und er versammelte ganz Juda und Benjamin und die Leute, die aus Ephraim, Manasse und Simeon als Fremdlinge bei ihnen wohnten; denn eine Menge Leute aus Israel waren zu ihm übergegangen, als sie sahen, dass der Herr, sein Gott, mit ihm war.

Después hizo juntar á todo Judá y Benjamín, y con ellos los extranjeros de Ephraim, y de Manasés, y de Simeón: porque muchos de Israel se habían pasado á él, viendo que Jehová su Dios era con él.

And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and the strangers with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for they fell to him out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that the LORD his God was with him.

Sie versammelten sich zu Jerusalem im dritten Monat des fünfzehnten Jahres der Regierung Asas

Juntáronse pues en Jerusalem en el mes tercero del año décimoquinto del reinado de Asa.

Y en aquel mismo día sacrificaron á Jehová, de los despojos que habían traído, setecientos bueyes y siete mil ovejas.

And they offered unto the LORD the same time, of the spoil which they had brought, seven hundred oxen and seven thousand sheep.

They sacrificed to the LORD in that day, from the plunder which they had brought, seven hundred head of cattle and seven thousand sheep.

ein jeder, der den Herrn, den Gott Israels, nicht suchen würde, sollte getötet werden, ob klein oder gross, ob Mann oder Weib.

Y que cualquiera que no buscase á Jehová el Dios de Israel, muriese, grande ó pequeño, hombre ó mujer.

That whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.

Sie schwuren dem Herrn mit lauter Stimme unter Jubelgeschrei und unter Trompeten- und Posaunenschall.

Y juraron á Jehová con gran voz y júbilo, á son de trompetas y de bocinas:

And they sware unto the LORD with a loud voice, and with shouting, and with trumpets, and with cornets.

König Asa entsetzte auch seine Mutter Maacha ihrer Würde als "Gebieterin", weil sie ein Götzenbild für die Aschera hatte machen lassen. Und Asa hieb ihr Götzenbild um und zermalmte und verbrannte es im Kidrontale. (1) Titel der Mutter des Königs; vgl. Jer 13:18. (a) 1Kön 15:13-15

Y aun á Maachâ madre del rey Asa, él mismo la depuso de su dignidad, porque había hecho un ídolo en el bosque: y Asa deshizo su ídolo, y lo desmenuzó, y quemó en el torrente de Cedrón.

And also concerning Maachah the mother of Asa the king, he removed her from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove: and Asa cut down her idol, and stamped it, and burnt it at the brook Kidron.

Die Höhenheiligtümer freilich wurden in Israel nicht abgetan; doch war das Herz Asas untadelig sein Leben lang.

Bis zum 35. Jahre der Regierung Asas war kein Krieg.

Y no hubo guerra hasta los treinta y cinco años del reinado de Asa.
