2 Crónicas 14

Er sprach nun zu Juda: "Wir wollen diese Städte aufbauen und mit Mauern, Türmen, Toren und Riegeln umgeben. Noch sind wir die Herren des Landes. Denn wir haben den Herrn, unseren Gott, gesucht. Wir haben ihn gesucht, und da schaffte er uns ringsum Ruhe." So bauten sie und hatten Gelingen.

Y edificó ciudades fuertes en Judá, por cuanto había paz en la tierra, y no había guerra contra él en aquellos tiempos; porque Jehová le había dado reposo.

And he built fenced cities in Judah: for the land had rest, and he had no war in those years; because the LORD had given him rest.
