7Se juntaron con él unos individuos abyectos, hijos de Belial, con cuya ayuda prevaleció contra Roboam, hijo de Salomón, cuando este era joven y de tierno corazón y no podía hacerles frente.

7Y se allegaron á él hombres vanos, hijos de iniquidad, y pudieron más que Roboam hijo de Salomón, porque Roboam era mozo y tierno de corazón, y no se defendió de ellos.

7And there are gathered unto him vain men, the children of Belial, and have strengthened themselves against Rehoboam the son of Solomon, when Rehoboam was young and tenderhearted, and could not withstand them.
