2 Crónicas 12

Ma quando Roboamo fu bene stabilito, e fortificato nel regno, egli, e tutto Israele dietro a lui abbandonò la legge del Signore.

Y COMO Roboam hubo confirmado el reino, dejó la ley de Jehová, y con él todo Israel.

And it came to pass, when Rehoboam had established the kingdom, and had strengthened himself, he forsook the law of the LORD, and all Israel with him.

E l'anno quinto del regno di Roboamo, Sesac re dell'Egitto si mosse contro Gerusalemme (perchè quegli avean peccato contro il Signore)

Y en el quinto año del rey Roboam subió Sisac rey de Egipto contra Jerusalem, (por cuanto se habían rebelado contra Jehová,)

And it came to pass, that in the fifth year of king Rehoboam Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem, because they had transgressed against the LORD,

Then came Shemaiah the prophet to Rehoboam, and to the princes of Judah, that were gathered together to Jerusalem because of Shishak, and said unto them, Thus saith the LORD, Ye have forsaken me, and therefore have I also left you in the hand of Shishak.

Now Shemaiah the prophet came to Rehoboam and to the princes of Judah, who were gathered together to Jerusalem because of Shishak, and said to them, “The LORD says, ‘You have forsaken me, therefore I have also left you in the hand of Shishak.’”

E sbigottiti i principi d'Israele, e il re, dissero: Giusto è il Signore.

Ma il Signore veggendo come erano umiliati, parlò a Semeia, e disse: Perchè ei si sono umiliati, io non gli spergerò, e darò loro un pocolino di aiuto, e il mio furore non gronderà sopra Gerusalemme per mano di Sesac.

Y como vió Jehová que se habían humillado, fué palabra de Jehová á Semeías, diciendo: Hanse humillado; no los destruiré; antes los salvaré en breve, y no se derramará mi ira contra Jerusalem por mano de Sisac.

And when the LORD saw that they humbled themselves, the word of the LORD came to Shemaiah, saying, They have humbled themselves; therefore I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some deliverance; and my wrath shall not be poured out upon Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.

Ma saranno soggetti a lui, affinchè conoscano la differenza tral servire a me, e 'l servire ai re della terra.

Così Sesac re dell'Egitto si ritirò da Gerusalemme, portando via i tesori della casa del Signore, e della casa reale, e gli scudi d'oro fatti da Salomone,

Subió pues Sisac rey de Egipto á Jerusalem, y tomó los tesoros de la casa de Jehová, y los tesoros de la casa del rey; todo lo llevó: y tomó los paveses de oro que Salomón había hecho.

Invece de' quali il re ne fece fare altri di bronzo, dandogli ai capitani delle guardie, che custodivano l'atrio del palazzo.

Y en lugar de ellos hizo el rey Roboam paveses de metal, y entrególos en manos de los jefes de la guardia, los cuales custodiaban la entrada de la casa del rey.

Instead of which king Rehoboam made shields of brass, and committed them to the hands of the chief of the guard, that kept the entrance of the king’s house.

E quando il re entrava nella casa del Signore, quei che portavan gli scudi, andavano a prendergli, e poi li riportavano all'arsenale.

Y cuando el rey iba á la casa de Jehová, venían los de la guardia, y traíanlos, y después los volvían á la cámara de la guardia.

Ma perchè ei si umiliarono, si calmò verso di loro l'ira del Signore, e non furono sterminati affatto, perchè anche in Giuda si trovarono delle buone opere.

Y como él se humilló, la ira de Jehová se apartó de él, para no destruirlo del todo: y también en Judá las cosas fueron bien.

Roboamo adunque riprese vigore, e regnò in Gerusalemme: or egli avea quarant'un anno quando principiò a regnare, e diciassette anni regnò in Gerusalemme città eletta dal Signore tra tutte le tribù d'Israele per istabilirvi il culto del nome suo. Sua madre si chiamò Naama, ed era Ammonita.

Fortificado pues Roboam, reinó en Jerusalem: y era Roboam de cuarenta y un años cuando comenzó á reinar, y diecisiete años reinó en Jerusalem, ciudad que escogió Jehová de todas las tribus de Israel, para poner en ella su nombre. Y el nombre de su madre fué Naama Ammonita.

So king Rehoboam strengthened himself in Jerusalem, and reigned: for Rehoboam was one and forty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which the LORD had chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, to put his name there. Egli però fece il male, e non rivolse il cuor suo a cercare il Signore.

E hizo lo malo, porque no apercibió su corazón para buscar á Jehová.

And he did evil, because he prepared not his heart to seek the LORD.

Ma le geste di Roboam, le prime, e le ultime sono scritte nel libro di Semeia profeta, e di Addo Profeta, ed esposte con esattezza. E Roboamo, e Geroboam ebbero tra loro continua guerra.

Y las cosas de Roboam, primeras y postreras, ¿no están escritas en los libros de Semeías profeta y de Iddo vidente, en la cuenta de los linajes? Y entre Roboam y Jeroboam hubo perpetua guerra.

E Roboamo si addormentò co' padri suoi, e fu sepolto nella città di David. E gli succedette nel regno Abia suo figliuolo. Abia stando per venire a battaglia contro Jeroboamo, esorta l'esercito di lui a non combattere contro Giuda, che avea per rito condottiere il Signore, cui essi aveano rigettato. Egli, posta sua speranza in Dio, ottiene la vittoria, ed espugna varie città. dà varie mogli ha moltissimi figliuoli.

Y durmió Roboam con sus padres, y fué sepultado en la ciudad de David: y reinó en su lugar Abías su hijo.
