14Os levitas deixaram seus pastos e propriedades, a fim de vir para Judá e Jerusalém, pois Jeroboão e seus filhos os tinham expulsado para longe, para que eles não pudessem mais exercer seus deveres sacerdotais para com Yahweh.

14For the Levites left their suburbs and their possession, and came to Judah and Jerusalem: for Jeroboam and his sons had cast them off from executing the priest’s office unto the LORD:
