2 Crónicas 10

Il padre tuo ci oppresse di durissimo giogo; sia il tuo governo più mite, che quello del padre tuo, il quale ci ha messi in una schiavitù dolorosa; diminuisci tu alcun poco le gravezze, e noi saremo tuoi servi.

Tu padre agravó nuestro yugo: afloja tú, pues, ahora algo de la dura servidumbre, y del grave yugo con que tu padre nos apremió, y te serviremos.

Thy father made our yoke grievous: now therefore ease thou somewhat the grievous servitude of thy father, and his heavy yoke that he put upon us, and we will serve thee.

“Your father made our yoke grievous. Now therefore make the grievous service of your father and his heavy yoke which he put on us, lighter, and we will serve you.”
