15Entonces el rey no escuchó al pueblo; porque esto sucedió por el propósito de Dios, para que el Señor pudiera cumplir su palabra que había dicho por Ahias él de Silo a Jeroboam, el hijo de Nebat.

15So the king hearkened not unto the people: for the cause was of God, that the LORD might perform his word, which he spake by the hand of Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
