Por lo tanto primero que todo, yo les exhorto que hagan peticiones, oraciones, intersecciones, y acciones de gracias sean hechas por todas las personas,
AMONESTO pues, ante todas cosas, que se hagan rogativas, oraciones, peticiones, hacimientos de gracias, por todos los hombres;
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

por los reyes y todo aquel que esté en autoridad, de manera que vivamos una vida pacífica y quieta en toda piedad y dignidad.
Por los reyes y por todos los que están en eminencia, para que vivamos quieta y reposadamente en toda piedad y honestidad.
For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

Esto es bueno y aceptable ante Dios nuestro Salvador.
Porque esto es bueno y agradable delante de Dios nuestro Salvador;

Él desea que todas las personas se salven y vengan al conocimiento de la verdad.
El cual quiere que todos los hombres sean salvos, y que vengan al conocimiento de la verdad.
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.
Porque hay un solo Dios, y un solo mediador entre Dios y los hombres, Cristo Jesús el hombre.

Quien se dio a Sí mismo en rescate por todos, como testimonio en el tiempo correcto.
El cual se dió á sí mismo en precio del rescate por todos, para testimonio en sus tiempos:

Para este propósito, yo mismo, fui hecho heraldo y apóstol. Yo estoy diciendo la verdad. No estoy mintiendo. Yo soy un maestro de los gentiles en fe y verdad.
De lo que yo soy puesto por predicador y apóstol, (digo verdad en Cristo, no miento) doctor de los Gentiles en fidelidad y verdad.
Where unto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.
to which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle—I am telling the truth in Christ, not lying—a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.
Por lo tanto, yo quiero que todo hombre en todo lugar ore y levante manos santas, sin ira o discusión.
Quiero, pues, que los hombres oren en todo lugar, levantando manos limpias, sin ira ni contienda.
I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

De igual manera, yo quiero que las mujeres se vistan con ropas apropiadas, con modestia y autocontrol. Ellas no deben tener peinados de lujo, u oro, o perlas, o ropa costosa.
Asimismo también las mujeres, ataviándose en hábito honesto, con vergüenza y modestia; no con cabellos encrespados, ú oro, ó perlas, ó vestidos costosos,
In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
In the same way, that women also adorn themselves in decent clothing, with modesty and propriety, not with braided hair, gold, pearls, or expensive clothing,
Yo quiero que ellas se vistan con lo que sea apropiado para las mujeres que profesan piedad a través de buenas obras.
Sino de buenas obras, como conviene á mujeres que profesan piedad.
But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
but with good works, which is appropriate for women professing godliness.
La mujer debe aprender en silencio y en toda conformidad.
La mujer aprenda en silencio, con toda sujeción.
Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
Let a woman learn in quietness with full submission.
Yo no permito a la mujer enseñar o ejercer autoridad sobre un hombre, sino que viva en silencio.
Porque no permito á la mujer enseñar, ni tomar autoridad sobre el hombre, sino estar en silencio.
But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
But I don’t permit a woman to teach, nor to exercise authority over a man, but to be in quietness.
Porque Adán fue formado primero, después Eva.
Porque Adam fué formado el primero, después Eva;
For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

Y Adán no fue engañado, pero la mujer fue completamente engañada para transgresión.
Y Adam no fué engañado, sino la mujer, siendo seducida, vino á ser envuelta en transgresión:
And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
Adam wasn’t deceived, but the woman, being deceived, has fallen into disobedience;
Sin embargo, ella se salvará a través de tener hijos, si ellas continúan en fe, amor y en santificación con sensatez de mente.
Empero se salvará engendrando hijos, si permaneciere en la fe y caridad y santidad, con modestia.
Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
but she will be saved through her childbearing, if they continue in faith, love, and holiness with sobriety.
