1 Timoteo 2

Raccomando adunque prima di tutto, che si facciano suppliche, orazioni, voti, ringraziamenti per tutti gli uomini:

AMONESTO pues, ante todas cosas, que se hagan rogativas, oraciones, peticiones, hacimientos de gracias, por todos los hombres;

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

Pei Regi, e per tutti i costituiti in posto sublime, affinchè meniamo vita quieta, e tranquilla con tutta pietà, ed onestà:

Por los reyes y por todos los que están en eminencia, para que vivamos quieta y reposadamente en toda piedad y honestidad.

For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence.

Imperocché questo è ben fatto, e grato nel cospetto del Salvatore Dio nostro,

Porque esto es bueno y agradable delante de Dios nuestro Salvador;

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,

Il quale vuole, che tutti gli uomini si salvino, ed arrivino al conoscimento della verità.

El cual quiere que todos los hombres sean salvos, y que vengan al conocimiento de la verdad.

Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.

Imperocché Dio è uno, uno anche il mediatore tra Dio, e gli uomini, uomo Cristo Gesù:

Porque hay un Dios, asimismo un mediador entre Dios y los hombres, Jesucristo hombre;

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

Il quale diede se stesso in redenzione per tutti, testimone nel debito tempo:

El cual se dió á sí mismo en precio del rescate por todos, para testimonio en sus tiempos:

Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

who gave himself as a ransom for all, the testimony at the proper time,

Al qual fine son io stato costituito predicatore, e Apostolo (dico la verità, non mentisco) dottore delle genti per la fede, e per la verità.

De lo que yo soy puesto por predicador y apóstol, (digo verdad en Cristo, no miento) doctor de los Gentiles en fidelidad y verdad.

Where unto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.

to which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle—I am telling the truth in Christ, not lying—a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

Bramo adunque, che gli uomini orino in ogni luogo, alzando pure le mani, scevri d'ira, e di dissensione.

Quiero, pues, que los hombres oren en todo lugar, levantando manos limpias, sin ira ni contienda.

I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

I desire therefore that the men in every place pray, lifting up holy hands without anger and doubting.

Similmente anche le donne nel lor vestire decente si ornino di verecondia, e modestia, non con i capelli arricciati, né con oro, o perle, o con vestimenta preziose:

Asimismo también las mujeres, ataviándose en hábito honesto, con vergüenza y modestia; no con cabellos encrespados, ú oro, ó perlas, ó vestidos costosos,

In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

In the same way, that women also adorn themselves in decent clothing, with modesty and propriety, not with braided hair, gold, pearls, or expensive clothing,

Ma con le buone opere, come a donne conviensi, che fan professione di pietà.

Sino de buenas obras, como conviene á mujeres que profesan piedad.

But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

but with good works, which is appropriate for women professing godliness.

La donna impari in silenzio con tutta dipendenza.

La mujer aprenda en silencio, con toda sujeción.

Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.

Let a woman learn in quietness with full submission.

Non permetto alla donna il fare da maestra, né il dominar sopra l'uomo: ma che stia cheta.

Porque no permito á la mujer enseñar, ni tomar autoridad sobre el hombre, sino estar en silencio.

But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

But I don’t permit a woman to teach, nor to exercise authority over a man, but to be in quietness.

Imperciocché Adamo fu formato il primo, e poi Eva:

Porque Adam fué formado el primero, después Eva;

For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

For Adam was formed first, then Eve.

E Adamo non fu sedotto, ma la donna sedotta prevaricò.

Y Adam no fué engañado, sino la mujer, siendo seducida, vino á ser envuelta en transgresión:

And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

Adam wasn’t deceived, but the woman, being deceived, has fallen into disobedience;

Nondimeno si salverà per la educazione de' figliuoli, se si terrà nella fede, e nella carità, e nella santità con modestia. Insegna a Timoteo, quali debbano essere i vescovi, i diaconi, e la diaconesse: e in qual modo debba egli diportarsi nella Chiesa, la quale è colonna della verità: celebra il mistero dell'incarnazione del Signore.

Empero se salvará engendrando hijos, si permaneciere en la fe y caridad y santidad, con modestia.

Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

but she will be saved through her childbearing, if they continue in faith, love, and holiness with sobriety.
