Os filisteus lutaram, e Israel foi derrotado, e cada homem fugiu para a sua tenda. Foi uma matança muito grande; pois caíram trinta mil homens de infantaria de Israel.

Pelearon pues los Filisteos, é Israel fué vencido, y huyeron cada cual á sus tiendas; y fué hecha muy grande mortandad, pues cayeron de Israel treinta mil hombres de á pie.

And the Philistines fought, and Israel was smitten, and they fled every man into his tent: and there was a very great slaughter; for there fell of Israel thirty thousand footmen.
