12Da machten sich alle wehrhaften Mannen auf. Sie zogen die ganze Nacht hindurch und nahmen Sauls Leichnam und die Leichname seiner Söhne von der Mauer zu Betsan. So kamen sie wieder nach Jabes und verbrannten sie dort.
