20Et soudain Saül tomba de toute sa longueur sur le sol, épouvanté qu'il était du discours de Samuel, et de plus il était exténué n'ayant pris aucun aliment de tout le jour et de toute la nuit.

20Then Saul fell straightway all along on the earth, and was sore afraid, because of the words of Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the day, nor all the night.

20Then Saul fell immediately his full length on the earth, and was terrified, because of Samuel’s words. There was no strength in him, for he had eaten no bread all day long or all night long.
