Da machte sich David auf und ging mit den 600 Mann bei ihm zu Akis über, dem König von Gat und Maoks Sohn.

Levantóse pues David, y con los seiscientos hombres que tenía consigo pasóse á Achîs hijo de Maoch, rey de Gath.

And David arose, and he passed over with the six hundred men that were with him unto Achish, the son of Maoch, king of Gath.
