1DAVID aber dachte bei sich selbst: Nun werde ich eines Tages durch Sauls Hand weggerafft werden. Es gibt für mich nichts Besseres, als dass ich ins Philisterland entrinne. Dann wird Saul es aufgeben, mich weiterhin im ganzen Gebiet von Israel zu suchen, und ich entrinne seinen Händen.

1Y DIJO David en su corazón: Al fin seré muerto algún día por la mano de Saúl: nada por tanto me será mejor que fugarme á la tierra de los Filisteos, para que Saúl se deje de mí, y no me ande buscando más por todos los términos de Israel, y así me escaparé de sus manos.

1And David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul: there is nothing better for me than that I should speedily escape into the land of the Philistines; and Saul shall despair of me, to seek me any more in any coast of Israel: so shall I escape out of his hand.
