12Ainsi, David prit auprès du chevet la javeline et la fiole d'eau, et ils s'en allèrent. Nul ne les vit, nul ne sut qu'ils étaient là, nul ne s'éveilla ; tous dormaient, car le Seigneur avait fait tomber sur eux une profonde torpeur.

12So David took the spear and the cruse of water from Saul’s bolster; and they gat them away, and no man saw it, nor knew it, neither awaked: for they were all asleep; because a deep sleep from the LORD was fallen upon them.
