Los hombres de David le dijeron a él: "Este es el día del cual El SEÑOR habló, cuando él te dijo: 'Yo te entregaré a tu enemigo en tus manos, para que hagas con él como tú quieras." Luego, David se levantó y silenciosamente se arrastró hacia adelante y cortó el borde del manto de Saúl.
Y como llegó á una majada de ovejas en el camino, donde había una cueva, entró Saúl en ella á cubrir sus pies: y David y los suyos estaban á los lados de la cueva.
And the men of David said unto him, Behold the day of which the LORD said unto thee, Behold, I will deliver thine enemy into thine hand, that thou mayest do to him as it shall seem good unto thee. Then David arose, and cut off the skirt of Saul’s robe privily.
David’s men said to him, “Behold, the day of which the LORD said to you, ‘Behold, I will deliver your enemy into your hand, and you shall do to him as it shall seem good to you.’” Then David arose and cut off the skirt of Saul’s robe secretly.
