1 Samuel 24

Et aujourd'hui tu as mis en évidence le bien que tu m'as fait, puisque l'Éternel m'ayant mis entre tes mains, tu ne m'as pas ôté la vie. En effet, si quelqu'un rencontre son ennemi, le laisse-t-il aller sain et sauf ?

Y dijo á David: Más justo eres tú que yo, que me has pagado con bien, habiéndote yo pagado con mal.

And thou hast shewed this day how that thou hast dealt well with me: forasmuch as when the LORD had delivered me into thine hand, thou killedst me not.

You have declared today how you have dealt well with me, because when the LORD had delivered me up into your hand, you didn’t kill me.
