10Hoje mesmo o rei pode ver com os seus próprios olhos que isso não é verdade. O Senhor colocou o rei nas minhas mãos, lá na caverna. Alguns dos meus homens me disseram para matá-lo, no entanto eu o poupei, pois disse: ‘Nunca farei mal ao meu senhor, porque ele é o ungido do Senhor’.

10Behold, this day thine eyes have seen how that the LORD had delivered thee to day into mine hand in the cave: and some bade me kill thee: but mine eye spared thee; and I said, I will not put forth mine hand against my lord; for he is the LORD’s anointed.

10Behold, today your eyes have seen how the LORD had delivered you today into my hand in the cave. Some urged me to kill you, but I spared you. I said, ‘I will not stretch out my hand against my lord, for he is the LORD’s anointed.’
