1 Samuel 23

E fu significato, e detto a David: Ecco che i Filistei assediano Ceila, e saccheggiano le aie.

Y DIERON aviso á David, diciendo: He aquí que los Filisteos combaten á Keila, y roban las eras.

Then they told David, saying, Behold, the Philistines fight against Keilah, and they rob the threshingfloors.

David was told, “Behold, the Philistines are fighting against Keilah, and are robbing the threshing floors.”

Davidde adunque consultò il Signore, dicendo: Anderò io, e vincerò io questi Filistei? E il Signore disse a David: Va, vincerai i Filistei, e salverai Ceila.

Y David consultó á Jehová, diciendo: ¿Iré á herir á estos Filisteos? Y Jehová respondió á David: Ve, hiere á los Filisteos, y libra á Keila.

Therefore David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go and smite these Philistines? And the LORD said unto David, Go, and smite the Philistines, and save Keilah.

Therefore David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I go and strike these Philistines?” The LORD said to David, “Go strike the Philistines, and save Keilah.”

Ma la gente che era con David gli dissero: Tu vedi, come noi stando qui nella Giudea abbiam paura: quanto più se andremo a Ceila contro la squadra dei Filistei?

Mas los que estaban con David le dijeron: He aquí que nosotros aquí en Judá estamos con miedo; ¿cuánto más si fuéremos á Keila contra el ejército de los Filisteos?

And David’s men said unto him, Behold, we be afraid here in Judah: how much more then if we come to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines?

David’s men said to him, “Behold, we are afraid here in Judah. How much more then if we go to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines?”

David adunque consultò di bel nuovo il Signore, il quale rispose a lui, e disse: Parti, e va a Ceila: perocchè io darò i Filistei nelle tue mani.

Entonces David volvió á consultar á Jehová. Y Jehová le respondió, y dijo: Levántate, desciende á Keila, que yo entregaré en tus manos á los Filisteos.

Then David enquired of the LORD yet again. And the LORD answered him and said, Arise, go down to Keilah; for I will deliver the Philistines into thine hand.

Andò adunque Davidde con sua gente a Ceila, e combattè contro i Filistei, e ne fece strage grande, e menò via i loro giumenti, e salvò David gli abitanti di Ceila.

Partióse pues David con sus hombres á Keila, y peleó contra los Filisteos, y trajo antecogidos sus ganados, é hiriólos con grande estrago: y libró David á los de Keila.

So David and his men went to Keilah, and fought with the Philistines, and brought away their cattle, and smote them with a great slaughter. So David saved the inhabitants of Keilah.

Or quando Abiathar figliuolo di Achimelech si rifuggì presso David a Ceila, vi andò portando con sé l'Ephod.

And it came to pass, when Abiathar the son of Ahimelech fled to David to Keilah, that he came down with an ephod in his hand.

E fu dato avviso a Saul, come David era andato a Ceila, e disse: Iddio lo ha dato nelle mie mani; egli è chiuso, essendo entrato in una città che ha porte e serrature.

Y fué dicho á Saúl que David había venido á Keila. Entonces dijo Saúl: Dios lo ha traído á mis manos; porque él está encerrado, habiéndose metido en ciudad con puertas y cerraduras.

And it was told Saul that David was come to Keilah. And Saul said, God hath delivered him into mine hand; for he is shut in, by entering into a town that hath gates and bars.

Saul was told that David had come to Keilah. Saul said, “God has delivered him into my hand, for he is shut in by entering into a town that has gates and bars.”

E Saul comandò a tutto il popolo che partisse verso Ceila per combattere, e che assediasse David, e la sua gente.

Y convocó Saúl todo el pueblo á la batalla, para descender á Keila, y poner cerco á David y á los suyos.

And Saul called all the people together to war, to go down to Keilah, to besiege David and his men.

E David, quand'ebbe inteso, come Saul preparava segretamente la sua rovina, disse ad Abiathar sacerdote: Porta qua l'Ephod.

Mas entendiendo David que Saúl ideaba el mal contra él, dijo á Abiathar sacerdote: Trae el ephod.

And David knew that Saul secretly practised mischief against him; and he said to Abiathar the priest, Bring hither the ephod.

David knew that Saul was devising mischief against him. He said to Abiathar the priest, “Bring the ephod here.”

E disse David: Signore Dio d'Israele, il tuo Servo ha sentito dire che Saul si dispone a venire a Ceila per rovinare la città per causa mia.

Y dijo David: Jehová Dios de Israel, tu siervo tiene entendido que Saúl trata de venir contra Keila, á destruir la ciudad por causa mía.

Then said David, O LORD God of Israel, thy servant hath certainly heard that Saul seeketh to come to Keilah, to destroy the city for my sake.

Then David said, “O LORD, the God of Israel, your servant has surely heard that Saul seeks to come to Keilah to destroy the city for my sake.

Gli abitanti di Ceila mi darann'eglino nelle sue mani? E Saul verrà egli, come ha sentito dire il tuo servo? Signore Dio d'Israele, dà lume al tuo servo. E il Signore disse: Ei verrà.

¿Me entregarán los vecinos de Keila en sus manos? ¿descenderá Saúl, como tu siervo tiene oído? Jehová Dios de Israel, ruégote que lo declares á tu siervo. Y Jehová dijo: Sí, descenderá.

Will the men of Keilah deliver me up into his hand? will Saul come down, as thy servant hath heard? O LORD God of Israel, I beseech thee, tell thy servant. And the LORD said, He will come down.

Will the men of Keilah deliver me up into his hand? Will Saul come down, as your servant has heard? LORD, the God of Israel, I beg you, tell your servant.” The LORD said, “He will come down.”

E disse David: Gli abitanti di Ceila darann'eglino me, e la gente che è meco nelle mani di Saul? E il Signore disse: Vi daranno.

Dijo luego David: ¿Me entregarán los vecinos de Keila á mí y á mis hombres en manos de Saúl? Y Jehová respondió: Te entregarán.

Then said David, Will the men of Keilah deliver me and my men into the hand of Saul? And the LORD said, They will deliver thee up.

Then David said, “Will the men of Keilah deliver me and my men into the hand of Saul?” The LORD said, “They will deliver you up.”

Si mosse allora David, e i circa secento uomini di sua gente, e partiti da Ceila andavano qua e là girando irresoluti. E fu portata la nuova a Saul, come David era fuggito da Ceila, e si era salvato: per la qual cosa fece finta di non più muoversi.

David entonces se levantó con sus hombres, que eran como seiscientos, y saliéronse de Keila, y fuéronse de una parte á otra. Y vino la nueva á Saúl de como David se había escapado de Keila; y dejó de salir.

Then David and his men, which were about six hundred, arose and departed out of Keilah, and went whithersoever they could go. And it was told Saul that David was escaped from Keilah; and he forbare to go forth.

Ma Davidde se ne stava nel deserto in luoghi sicurissimi, e abitò sulla montagna del deserto di Ziph, montagna ombrosa: ma Saul cercava mai sempre di lui: e il Signore nol diede nelle sue mani.

Y David se estaba en el desierto en peñas, y habitaba en un monte en el desierto de Ziph; y buscábalo Saúl todos los días, mas Dios no lo entregó en sus manos.

And David abode in the wilderness in strong holds, and remained in a mountain in the wilderness of Ziph. And Saul sought him every day, but God delivered him not into his hand.

David stayed in the wilderness in the strongholds, and remained in the hill country in the wilderness of Ziph. Saul sought him every day, but God didn’t deliver him into his hand.

E David avea saputo, come Saul si era mosso per torgli la vita. Ma David se ne stava nel Deserto di Ziph in una boscaglia.

Viendo pues David que Saúl había salido en busca de su alma, estábase él en el bosque en el desierto de Ziph.

And David saw that Saul was come out to seek his life: and David was in the wilderness of Ziph in a wood.

Ma Gionata figliuolo di Saul parti, e andò a trovare David alla boscaglia, e ravvivò la sua fermezza in Dio, e gli disse:

Entonces se levantó Jonathán hijo de Saúl, y vino á David en el bosque, y confortó su mano en Dios.

And Jonathan Saul’s son arose, and went to David into the wood, and strengthened his hand in God.

Non temere; perocché Saul mio padre non ti metterà addosso le mani, e tu regnerai sopra Israele, e io sarò il tuo secondo: e ben sa ciò anche Saul padre mio.

Y díjole: No temas, que no te hallará la mano de Saúl mi padre, y tú reinarás sobre Israel, y yo seré segundo después de ti; y aun Saúl mi padre así lo sabe.

And he said unto him, Fear not: for the hand of Saul my father shall not find thee; and thou shalt be king over Israel, and I shall be next unto thee; and that also Saul my father knoweth.

He said to him, “Don’t be afraid, for the hand of Saul my father won’t find you; and you will be king over Israel, and I will be next to you; and Saul my father knows that also.”

E fermaron tutti due alleanza dinanzi al Signore: e David rimase nel bosco, e Gionata tornò a casa sua.

Y entrambos hicieron alianza delante de Jehová: y David se quedó en el bosque, y Jonathán se volvió á su casa.

And they two made a covenant before the LORD: and David abode in the wood, and Jonathan went to his house.

They both made a covenant before the LORD. Then David stayed in the woods and Jonathan went to his house.

Ma gli Ziphei andarono a trovar Saul in Gabaa, e gli dissero: Non sai tu che David sta fuggiasco presso di noi ne' luoghi più forti della selva sul colle di Hachila, che sta alla destra del deserto?

Y subieron los de Ziph á decir á Saúl en Gabaa: ¿No está David escondido en nuestra tierra en las peñas del bosque, en el collado de Hachîla que está á la mano derecha del desierto?

Then came up the Ziphites to Saul to Gibeah, saying, Doth not David hide himself with us in strong holds in the wood, in the hill of Hachilah, which is on the south of Jeshimon?

Then the Ziphites came up to Saul to Gibeah, saying, “Doesn’t David hide himself with us in the strongholds in the woods, in the hill of Hachilah, which is on the south of the desert?

Ora pertanto come tu avevi voglia di venire, vieni: e toccherà a noi il pensiero di darlo nelle mani del re.

Por tanto, rey, desciende ahora presto, según todo el deseo de tu alma, y nosotros lo entregaremos en la mano del rey.

Now therefore, O king, come down according to all the desire of thy soul to come down; and our part shall be to deliver him into the king’s hand.

E Saul disse: Benedetti voi dal Signore, che avete avuta pietà della mia sorte.

Y Saúl dijo: Benditos seáis vosotros de Jehová, que habéis tenido compasión de mí:

And Saul said, Blessed be ye of the LORD; for ye have compassion on me.

Saul said, “You are blessed by the LORD, for you have had compassion on me.

Andate adunque, ve ne prego, e ponete ogni diligenza, e informatevi con premura maggiore, e assicuratevi del luogo dov'ei posa il piede, e di chi ivi l'abbia veduto perocchè egli sta in sospetto di me, che io astutamente gli tenda agguati.

Id pues ahora, apercibid aún, considerad y ved su lugar donde tiene el pie, y quién lo haya visto allí; porque se me ha dicho que él es en gran manera astuto.

Go, I pray you, prepare yet, and know and see his place where his haunt is, and who hath seen him there: for it is told me that he dealeth very subtilly.

Please go make yet more sure, and know and see his place where his haunt is, and who has seen him there; for I have been told that he is very cunning.

Procurate di sapere, e di osservare tutti i suoi nascondigli, dov'ei si ritira, e tornate a me con notizie sicure, affinchè io venga con voi. Che se egli si nasconderà anche sotterra, lo andrò cercando io con tutte le schiere di Giuda.

Considerad pues, y ved todos los escondrijos donde se oculta, y volved á mí con la certidumbre, y yo iré con vosotros: que si él estuviere en la tierra, yo le buscaré entre todos los millares de Judá.

See therefore, and take knowledge of all the lurking places where he hideth himself, and come ye again to me with the certainty, and I will go with you: and it shall come to pass, if he be in the land, that I will search him out throughout all the thousands of Judah.

E quelli partirono, e andarono a Ziph innanzi a Saul: ma David, e i suoi erano nel deserto di Maon nella pianura alla destra di Jesimon.

Y ellos se levantaron, y se fueron á Ziph delante de Saúl. Mas David y su gente estaban en el desierto de Maón, en la llanura que está á la diestra del desierto.

And they arose, and went to Ziph before Saul: but David and his men were in the wilderness of Maon, in the plain on the south of Jeshimon.

Andò adunque Saul colla sua gente in cerca di lui: e David ne ebbe avviso, e subito si ritirò sul masso del deserto di Maon, dove abitava. E Saul avutane notizia andò in traccia di David nel deserto di Maon.

Y partióse Saúl con su gente á buscarlo; pero fué dado aviso á David, y descendió á la peña, y quedóse en el desierto de Maón. Lo cual como Saúl oyó, siguió á David al desierto de Maón.

Saul also and his men went to seek him. And they told David: wherefore he came down into a rock, and abode in the wilderness of Maon. And when Saul heard that, he pursued after David in the wilderness of Maon.

Saul and his men went to seek him. When David was told, he went down to the rock, and stayed in the wilderness of Maon. When Saul heard that, he pursued David in the wilderness of Maon.

E Saul andava costeggiando il monte da una parte: e David, e i suoi erano accanto al monte dall'altra parte: e David non avea speranza di poter fuggire dalle mani di Saul; perocché Saul, e la sua gente avea fatto come un cerchio intorno a David e a' suoi per farli prigioni.

Y Saúl iba por el un lado del monte, y David con los suyos por el otro lado del monte: y dábase priesa David para ir delante de Saúl; mas Saúl y los suyos habían encerrado á David y á su gente para tomarlos.

And Saul went on this side of the mountain, and David and his men on that side of the mountain: and David made haste to get away for fear of Saul; for Saul and his men compassed David and his men round about to take them.

Ma arrivò a Saul un messo che disse: Affrettati, e vieni, perocché i Filistei hanno inondato il paese.

Entonces vino un mensajero á Saúl, diciendo: Ven luego, porque los Filisteos han hecho una irrupción en el país.

But there came a messenger unto Saul, saying, Haste thee, and come; for the Philistines have invaded the land.

But a messenger came to Saul, saying, “Hurry and come, for the Philistines have made a raid on the land!”

Allora Saul, lasciando di tener dietro a David, se ne tornò indietro, e andò a far fronte a' Filistei: per questo fu dato a quel luogo il nome di Pietra di separazione. Davidde ascoto nella spelonca dì Engaddi taglia il lembo della clamide di Saul, che andava in traccia di lui, e impedisce, che i suoi non lo uccidano. Saulle perciò riconosce la sua colpa, e conoscendo, che David dee esser re, fattosi giurar da lui, che non distruggerà la sua famiglia, con esso si riconcilia.

Volvióse por tanto Saúl de perseguir á David, y partió contra los Filisteos. Por esta causa pusieron á aquel lugar por nombre Sela-hammah-lecoth.

Wherefore Saul returned from pursuing after David, and went against the Philistines: therefore they called that place Sela-hammahlekoth.

So Saul returned from pursuing David, and went against the Philistines. Therefore they called that place Sela Hammahlekoth.

And David went up from thence, and dwelt in strong holds at En-gedi.
