Als aber David erfuhr, dass Sauls böser Anschlag ihm galt, sprach er zu dem Priester Abjathar: Bring das Ephod her! (a) 1Sa 14:18; 30:7; 4Mo 27:21

Mas entendiendo David que Saúl ideaba el mal contra él, dijo á Abiathar sacerdote: Trae el ephod.

And David knew that Saul secretly practised mischief against him; and he said to Abiathar the priest, Bring hither the ephod.

David knew that Saul was devising mischief against him. He said to Abiathar the priest, “Bring the ephod here.”
