17Et le roi dit aux gardes qui se tenaient près de lui : « Tournez-vous et mettez à mort les prêtres de Yahweh ; car leur main est avec David et, sachant bien qu'il était en fuite, ils ne m'en ont pas informé. » Mais les serviteurs du roi ne voulurent pas étendre la main pour frapper les prêtres de Yahweh.

17Entonces dijo el rey á la gente de su guardia que estaba alrededor de él: Cercad y matad á los sacerdotes de Jehová; porque también la mano de ellos es con David, pues sabiendo ellos que huía, no me lo descubrieron. Mas los siervos del rey no quisieron extender sus manos para matar á los sacerdotes de Jehová.

17And the king said unto the footmen that stood about him, Turn, and slay the priests of the LORD; because their hand also is with David, and because they knew when he fled, and did not shew it to me. But the servants of the king would not put forth their hand to fall upon the priests of the LORD.
World English Bible
17The king said to the guard who stood about him, “Turn and kill the priests of the LORD, because their hand also is with David, and because they knew that he fled and didn’t disclose it to me.” But the servants of the king wouldn’t put out their hand to fall on the priests of the LORD.
