17Und der Konig sprach zu seinen Trabanten, die neben ihm stunden: Wendet euch und totet des HERRN Priester; denn ihre Hand ist auch mit David, und da sie wuliten, daß er floh, haben sie mir's nicht eroffnet. Aber die Knechte des Konigs wollten ihre Hande nicht an die Priester des HERRN legen, sie zu erschlagen.

17Entonces dijo el rey á la gente de su guardia que estaba alrededor de él: Cercad y matad á los sacerdotes de Jehová; porque también la mano de ellos es con David, pues sabiendo ellos que huía, no me lo descubrieron. Mas los siervos del rey no quisieron extender sus manos para matar á los sacerdotes de Jehová.

17And the king said unto the footmen that stood about him, Turn, and slay the priests of the LORD; because their hand also is with David, and because they knew when he fled, and did not shew it to me. But the servants of the king would not put forth their hand to fall upon the priests of the LORD.
World English Bible
17The king said to the guard who stood about him, “Turn and kill the priests of the LORD, because their hand also is with David, and because they knew that he fled and didn’t disclose it to me.” But the servants of the king wouldn’t put out their hand to fall on the priests of the LORD.
