6Como no había otro pan, el sacerdote le dio el pan sagrado, es decir, el pan de la presencia que se consagra ante Yahvé. Ese pan acababa de ser retirado de la mesa para ser reemplazado por pan caliente.

6Así el sacerdote le dió el pan sagrado, porque allí no había otro pan que los panes de la proposición, los cuales habían sido quitados de delante de Jehová, para que se pusiesen panes calientes el día que los otros fueron quitados.

6So the priest gave him hallowed bread: for there was no bread there but the shewbread, that was taken from before the LORD, to put hot bread in the day when it was taken away.
