Als man nun einst in der Halle gegessen und getrunken hatte, da stand Hanna auf und trat vor den Herrn, während der Priester Eli auf seinem Stuhle am Pfosten des Tempels des Herrn sass,

So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the LORD.

So Hannah rose up after they had finished eating and drinking in Shiloh. Now Eli the priest was sitting on his seat by the doorpost of the LORD’s temple.
