1Enfin le Seigneur dit à Samuel : Jusqu'à quand pleureras-tu sur Saül, puisque je l'ai rejeté, ne voulant plus qu'il règne sur Israël ? Remplis d'huile ta corne, et viens ; je t'enverrai chez Jessé, en Bethléem, car j'ai choisi un roi parmi ses fils.

1And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Beth-lehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.

1The LORD said to Samuel, “How long will you mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him from being king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go. I will send you to Jesse the Bethlehemite, for I have provided a king for myself among his sons.”
