41Nun sprach Saul: O Herr, Gott Israels, warum hast du deinem Knechte heute nicht geantwortet? Ist diese Schuld an mir oder an meinem Sohne Jonathan, o Herr, Gott Israels, so lass Urim erscheinen; ist diese Schuld aber an deinem Volke Israel, so lass Thummim erscheinen! Da traf es Jonathan und Saul, das Volk aber ging frei aus.

41Therefore Saul said unto the LORD God of Israel, Give a perfect lot. And Saul and Jonathan were taken: but the people escaped.
