27Jonatan aber hatte es nicht gehört, als sein Vater das Volk beschwor; und er streckte die Spitze seines Stabes aus, den er in seiner Hand hatte, und tauchte ihn in einen Honigwaben und nahm eine Handvoll in den Mund; da wurden seine Augen munter.

27But Jonathan heard not when his father charged the people with the oath: wherefore he put forth the end of the rod that was in his hand, and dipped it in an honeycomb, and put his hand to his mouth; and his eyes were enlightened.
