je me suis dit: Les Philistins vont descendre contre moi à Guilgal, et je n’ai pas imploré l’Éternel! C’est alors que je me suis fait violence et que j’ai offert l’holocauste.

Me dije: Los Filisteos descenderán ahora contra mí á Gilgal, y yo no he implorado el favor de Jehová. Esforcéme pues, y ofrecí holocausto.

Therefore said I, The Philistines will come down now upon me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication unto the LORD: I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering.
