1 Samuel 11

Siehe, da kam eben Saul vom Felde heim hinter den Rindern her, und er fragte: Was hat das Volk, dass es weint? Und man erzählte ihm das Anliegen der Männer von Jabes.

Y he aquí Saúl que venía del campo, tras los bueyes; y dijo Saúl: ¿Qué tiene el pueblo, que lloran? Y contáronle las palabras de los hombres de Jabes.

And, behold, Saul came after the herd out of the field; and Saul said, What aileth the people that they weep? And they told him the tidings of the men of Jabesh.

Behold, Saul came following the oxen out of the field; and Saul said, “What ails the people that they weep?” They told him the words of the men of Jabesh.
