Per mezzo di Silvano fratello fedele vi ho scritto, parmi, brevemente: per esortarvi, e attestando, che la vera grazia di Dio è questa, nella quale state costanti.

Por Silvano, el hermano fiel, según yo pienso, os he escrito brevemente, amonestándoos, y testificando que ésta es la verdadera gracia de Dios, en la cual estáis.

By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand.
