ALS nun Salomo den Bau des Tempels und des königlichen Palastes und alles vollendet hatte, was er auszuführen wünschte,

Y díjole Jehová: Yo he oído tu oración y tu ruego, que has hecho en mi presencia. Yo he santificado esta casa que tú has edificado, para poner mi nombre en ella para siempre; y en ella estarán mis ojos y mi corazón todos los días.

And the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.

The LORD said to him, “I have heard your prayer and your supplication that you have made before me. I have made this house holy, which you have built, to put my name there forever; and my eyes and my heart shall be there perpetually.

Wenn du nun vor mir wandelst, wie dein Vater David gewandelt ist, in Lauterkeit des Herzens und Aufrichtigkeit, sodass du alles tust, was ich dir geboten habe, und meine Satzungen und Rechte hältst,

And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments:

so will ich den Thron deiner Herrschaft über Israel auf ewig befestigen, wie ich deinem Vater David verheissen habe, da ich sprach: "Es soll dir nie fehlen an einem Nachkommen auf dem Throne Israels." (a) 2Sa 7:12 16

Yo afirmaré el trono de tu reino sobre Israel para siempre, como hablé á David tu padre, diciendo: No faltará de ti varón en el trono de Israel.

Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.

Wenn ihr euch aber von mir abwendet, ihr und eure Kinder, und meine Gebote und Satzungen, die ich euch gegeben habe, nicht haltet, sondern hingeht und andern Göttern dient und sie anbetet,

so werde ich Israel ausrotten aus dem Lande, das ich ihnen gegeben habe, und das Haus, das ich meinem Namen geweiht habe, von meinem Angesicht verwerfen, und Israel soll zum Sprichwort und zum Spotte werden unter allen Völkern. (a) 5Mo 28:37

Und dieses Haus wird zu einem Trümmerhaufen werden, und jeder, der daran vorübergeht, wird sich entsetzen und spotten; und wenn man fragt: "Warum hat der Herr diesem Lande und diesem Hause solches angetan?" (a) Jer 22:8

Y esta casa que estaba en estima, cualquiera que pasare por ella se pasmará, y silbará, y dirá: ¿Por qué ha hecho así Jehová á esta tierra, y á esta casa?

And at this house, which is high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and to this house?

Though this house is so high, yet everyone who passes by it will be astonished and hiss; and they will say, ‘Why has the LORD done this to this land and to this house?’

so wird man antworten: "Weil sie den Herrn, ihren Gott, der ihre Väter aus dem Lande Ägypten herausgeführt hat, verlassen und sich an andere Götter gehalten, sie angebetet und ihnen gedient haben, darum hat der Herr all dieses Unglück über sie gebracht."

Y dirán: Por cuanto dejaron á Jehová su Dios, que había sacado á sus padres de tierra de Egipto, y echaron mano á dioses ajenos, y los adoraron, y los sirvieron: por eso ha traído Jehová sobre ellos todo aqueste mal.

And they shall answer, Because they forsook the LORD their God, who brought forth their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have taken hold upon other gods, and have worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath the LORD brought upon them all this evil.

and they will answer, ‘Because they abandoned the LORD their God, who brought their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and embraced other gods, and worshiped them, and served them. Therefore the LORD has brought all this evil on them.’”

AM Ende der zwanzig Jahre, in denen Salomo die zwei Gebäude, den Tempel des Herrn und den Königspalast, gebaut hatte - (a) 1Kön 6:38; 7:1

Y aconteció al cabo de veinte años, en que Salomón había edificado las dos casas, la casa de Jehová y la casa real,

Hiram, der König von Tyrus, hatte Salomo Zedern- und Zypressenholz und Gold, soviel er haben wollte, dazu geliefert -, damals trat König Salomo dem Hiram zwanzig Städte in der Landschaft Galiläa ab.

(Para las cuales Hiram rey de Tiro, había traído á Salomón madera de cedro y de haya, y cuanto oro él quiso), que el rey Salomón dió á Hiram veinte ciudades en tierra de Galilea.

And he said, What cities are these which thou hast given me, my brother? And he called them the land of Cabul unto this day.

Und so verhielt es sich mit den Fronarbeiten, die König Salomo aushob, um den Tempel des Herrn und seinen Palast, das Millo und die Mauer Jerusalems zu bauen und um Hazor, Megiddo und Geser zu befestigen -

Y esta es la razón del tributo que el rey Salomón impuso para edificar la casa de Jehová, y su casa, y á Millo, y el muro de Jerusalem, y á Hasor, y Megiddo, y Gezer.

And this is the reason of the levy which king Solomon raised; for to build the house of the LORD, and his own house, and Millo, and the wall of Jerusalem, and Hazor, and Megiddo, and Gezer.

This is the reason of the forced labor which King Solomon conscripted: to build the LORD’s house, his own house, Millo, Jerusalem’s wall, Hazor, Megiddo, and Gezer.

der Pharao, der König von Ägypten, war nämlich heraufgezogen, hatte Geser eingenommen und verbrannt und die Kanaaniter, die in der Stadt wohnten, getötet; dann hatte er die Stadt seiner Tochter, der Gemahlin Salomos, zur Mitgift gegeben; (a) 1Kön 3:1

auch alle Vorratsstädte, die er besass, die Städte für die Streitwagen und für die Reiter und alles, was er in Jerusalem und im Libanon und im ganzen Gebiete seines Reiches zu bauen wünschte:

ihre Nachkommen, die im Lande übriggeblieben waren, an denen die Israeliten den Bann nicht hatten vollstrecken können, die machte Salomo zu Fronknechten, (und sie sind es geblieben) bis auf diesen Tag.

A sus hijos que quedaron en la tierra después de ellos, que los hijos de Israel no pudieron acabar, hizo Salomón que sirviesen con tributo hasta hoy.
