25Maintenant donc, ô Eternel Dieu d’Israël ! tiens à ton serviteur David mon père, ce dont tu lui as parlé, en disant : Jamais il ne te sera retranché de devant ma face un successeur pour être assis sur le trône d’Israël, pourvu seulement que tes fils prennent garde à leur voie, afin de marcher devant ma face, comme tu y as marché.

25Ahora pues, Jehová Dios de Israel, cumple á tu siervo David mi padre lo que le prometiste, diciendo: No faltará varón de ti delante de mí, que se siente en el trono de Israel, con tal que tus hijos guarden su camino, que anden delante de mí como tú has delante de mí andado.

25Therefore now, LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel; so that thy children take heed to their way, that they walk before me as thou hast walked before me.

25Now therefore, may LORD, the God of Israel, keep with your servant David my father that which you have promised him, saying, ‘There shall not fail from you a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel, if only your children take heed to their way, to walk before me as you have walked before me.’
