Así Salomón comenzó a construir el templo del SEÑOR. Esto aconteció en el año 480 después que el pueblo de Israel salió de la tierra de Egipto, en el cuarto año del reinado de Salomón sobre Israel, en el mes de Zif, el cuál es el segundo mes.

Y FUÉ en el año cuatrocientos ochenta después que los hijos de Israel salieron de Egipto, en el cuarto año del principio del reino de Salomón sobre Israel, en el mes de Ziph, que es el mes segundo, que él comenzó á edificar la casa de Jehová.

And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD.

In the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign over Israel, in the month Ziv, which is the second month, he began to build the LORD’s house.

El templo que el rey Salomón construyó para el SEÑOR fue de veintisiete metros de largo, nueve metros de ancho, y trece y medio metros de alto.

La casa que el rey Salomón edificó á Jehová, tuvo sesenta codos de largo y veinte de ancho, y treinta codos de alto.

And the house which king Solomon built for the LORD, the length thereof was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits.

The house which King Solomon built for the LORD had a length of sixty cubits, and its width twenty, and its height thirty cubits.

El pórtico en frente del pasillo principal del templo era de nueve metros metros de largo, igual a la anchura del templo, y cuatro y medio metros de profundidad al frente del templo.

Y el pórtico delante del templo de la casa, de veinte codos de largo, según la anchura de la casa, y su ancho era de diez codos delante de la casa.

And the porch before the temple of the house, twenty cubits was the length thereof, according to the breadth of the house; and ten cubits was the breadth thereof before the house.

The porch in front of the temple of the house had a length of twenty cubits, which was along the width of the house. Ten cubits was its width in front of the house.

Para la casa él hizo las ventanas con los marcos que las hacían más estrechas en la parte de afuera que adentro.

E hizo á la casa ventanas anchas por de dentro, y estrechas por de fuera.

And for the house he made windows of narrow lights.

He made windows of fixed lattice work for the house.

Contra las paredes de la cámara principal él construyó cuartos alrededor Él construyó cuartos por todos los lados alrededor.

Edificó también junto al muro de la casa aposentos alrededor, contra las paredes de la casa en derredor del templo y del oráculo: é hizo cámaras alrededor.

And against the wall of the house he built chambers round about, against the walls of the house round about, both of the temple and of the oracle: and he made chambers round about:

Against the wall of the house, he built floors all around, against the walls of the house all around, both of the temple and of the inner sanctuary; and he made side rooms all around.

El piso más bajo tenía dos metros y 25 centímetros de ancho, el del medio era de dos metros veintisiete centimetros de ancho, y el tercero era tres metros y quince centímetros de ancho. Por fuera el hizo repisas en la pared de la casa todo alrededor así que las vigas no estarían insertadas en las paredes de la casa.

El aposento de abajo era de cinco codos de ancho, y el de en medio de seis codos de ancho, y el tercero de siete codos de ancho: porque por de fuera había hecho disminuciones á la casa en derredor, para no trabar las vigas de las paredes de la casa.

The nethermost chamber was five cubits broad, and the middle was six cubits broad, and the third was seven cubits broad: for without in the wall of the house he made narrowed rests round about, that the beams should not be fastened in the walls of the house.

The lowest floor was five cubits wide, and the middle was six cubits wide, and the third was seven cubits wide; for on the outside he made offsets in the wall of the house all around, that the beams should not be inserted into the walls of the house.

La casa estaba construida de piedras de cantera ya termminadas. No se escuchó martillo, hacha, o cualquier herramienta de hierro en la casa mientras se estaba construyendo.

Y la casa cuando se edificó, fabricáronla de piedras que traían ya acabadas; de tal manera que cuando la edificaban, ni martillos ni hachas se oyeron en la casa, ni ningún otro instrumento de hierro.

And the house, when it was in building, was built of stone made ready before it was brought thither: so that there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building.

The house, when it was under construction, was built of stone prepared at the quarry; and no hammer or ax or any tool of iron was heard in the house while it was under construction.

En la parte sur del templo había una entrada en el nivel bajo, después una subía por las escaleras al nivel medio, y desde el medio al tercer nivel.

La puerta del aposento de en medio estaba al lado derecho de la casa: y subíase por un caracol al de en medio, y del aposento de en medio al tercero.

The door for the middle chamber was in the right side of the house: and they went up with winding stairs into the middle chamber, and out of the middle into the third.

The door for the middle side rooms was in the right side of the house. They went up by winding stairs into the middle floor, and out of the middle into the third.

Así que Salomón construyó el templo y lo completó, el cubrió la casa con vigas y tablones de cedro.

Labró pues la casa, y acabóla; y cubrió la casa con artesonados de cedro.

So he built the house, and finished it; and covered the house with beams and boards of cedar.

Él construyó el lado de los cuartos contra las cámaras interiores del templo, cada lado dos metros con veinticinco centímetros de alto; estaban unidas a la casa con maderas de cedro.

Y edificó asimismo el aposento en derredor de toda la casa, de altura de cinco codos, el cual se apoyaba en la casa con maderas de cedro.

And then he built chambers against all the house, five cubits high: and they rested on the house with timber of cedar.

He built the floors all along the house, each five cubits high; and they rested on the house with timbers of cedar.

La palabra del SEÑOR vino a Salomón, diciendo:

Y fué palabra de Jehová á Salomón, diciendo:

And the word of the LORD came to Solomon, saying,

The LORD’s word came to Solomon, saying,

"Respecto a este templo el cual estás contruyendo, si caminas en mis estatutos y haces justicia, mantienes todos mis mandamientos y caminas en ellos, entonces yo confirmaré mi promesa contigo que le hice a tu padre David.

Esta casa que tú edificas, si anduvieres en mis estatutos, é hicieres mis derechos, y guardares todos mis mandamientos andando en ellos, yo tendré firme contigo mi palabra que hablé á David tu padre;

Concerning this house which thou art in building, if thou wilt walk in my statutes, and execute my judgments, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then will I perform my word with thee, which I spake unto David thy father:

“Concerning this house which you are building, if you will walk in my statutes, and execute my ordinances, and keep all my commandments to walk in them, then I will establish my word with you, which I spoke to David your father.

Yo viveré entre el pueblo de Israel y no los abandonaré."

Y habitaré en medio de los hijos de Israel, y no dejaré á mi pueblo Israel.

And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will not forsake my people Israel.

Así que Salomón construyó la casa y la terminó.

Y aparejó las paredes de la casa por de dentro con tablas de cedro, vistiéndola de madera por dentro, desde el solado de la casa hasta las paredes de la techumbre: cubrió también el pavimento con madera de haya.

And he built the walls of the house within with boards of cedar, both the floor of the house, and the walls of the cieling: and he covered them on the inside with wood, and covered the floor of the house with planks of fir.

He built the walls of the house within with boards of cedar; from the floor of the house to the walls of the ceiling, he covered them on the inside with wood. He covered the floor of the house with cypress boards.

Él construyó nueve metros en la parte posterior de la casa con tablas de cedro desde el piso al techo. Él construyó este cuarto para que fuera el lugar santísimo.

Asimismo hizo al cabo de la casa un edificio de veinte codos de tablas de cedro, desde el solado hasta lo más alto; y fabricóse en la casa un oráculo, que es el lugar santísimo.

And he built twenty cubits on the sides of the house, both the floor and the walls with boards of cedar: he even built them for it within, even for the oracle, even for the most holy place.

He built twenty cubits of the back part of the house with boards of cedar from the floor to the ceiling. He built this within, for an inner sanctuary, even for the most holy place.

el cuarto principal que es el lugar santo era de dieciocho metros de largo.

Y la casa, á saber, el templo de dentro, tenía cuarenta codos.

And the house, that is, the temple before it, was forty cubits long.

In front of the temple sanctuary was forty cubits long.

Había cedro dentro de la casa, tallado en la forma de calabaza y flores abiertas. Todo era cedro dentro. Ninguna piedra era visible desde afuera.

Y la casa estaba cubierta de cedro por de dentro, y tenía entalladuras de calabazas silvestres y de botones de flores. Todo era cedro; ninguna piedra se veía.

And the cedar of the house within was carved with knops and open flowers: all was cedar; there was no stone seen.

There was cedar on the house within, carved with buds and open flowers. All was cedar. No stone was visible.

Salomón preparó el cuarto interior dentro de la casa para poner el arca del pacto del SEÑOR allí.

Y adornó el oráculo por de dentro en medio de la casa, para poner allí el arca del pacto de Jehová.

And the oracle he prepared in the house within, to set there the ark of the covenant of the LORD.

He prepared an inner sanctuary in the middle of the house within, to set the ark of the LORD’s covenant there.

El cuarto interior era de nueve metros de largo, nueve metros de anchura, y nueve metros de altura. Salomón cubrió las paredes con oro puro y cubrió el altar con madera de cedro.

Y el oráculo estaba en la parte de adentro, el cual tenía veinte codos de largo, y otros veinte de ancho, y otros veinte de altura; y vistiólo de oro purísimo: asimismo cubrió el altar de cedro.

And the oracle in the forepart was twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits in the height thereof: and he overlaid it with pure gold; and so covered the altar which was of cedar.

Within the inner sanctuary was twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in width, and twenty cubits in its height. He overlaid it with pure gold. He covered the altar with cedar.

Salomón cubrió el interior del templo con oro puro, y cerró por fuera con cadenas de oro a y cubrió el frente con oro.

De suerte que vistió Salomón de oro puro la casa por de dentro, y cerró la entrada del oráculo con cadenas de oro, y vistiólo de oro.

So Solomon overlaid the house within with pure gold: and he made a partition by the chains of gold before the oracle; and he overlaid it with gold.

So Solomon overlaid the house within with pure gold. He drew chains of gold across before the inner sanctuary, and he overlaid it with gold.

Él cubrió todo el interior con oro hasta que todo el templo se terminó. cubrió también con oro todo el altar que le pertenecia al cuarto interior.

Cubrió pues de oro toda la casa hasta el cabo; y asimismo vistió de oro todo el altar que estaba delante del oráculo.

And the whole house he overlaid with gold, until he had finished all the house: also the whole altar that was by the oracle he overlaid with gold.

He overlaid the whole house with gold, until all the house was finished. He also overlaid the whole altar that belonged to the inner sanctuary with gold.

Salomón hizo dos querubines de madera de olivo, cada uno de cuatro y medio metros de alto, para el cuarto interior.

Hizo también en el oráculo dos querubines de madera de oliva, cada uno de altura de diez codos.

And within the oracle he made two cherubims of olive tree, each ten cubits high.

In the inner sanctuary he made two cherubim of olive wood, each ten cubits high.

Una ala del primer querubín tenía dos metros y veinticinco centímetros de largo y la otra ala tambíen era de dos metros y veinticinco centímetros de largo. Así que desde la punta de una de las alas a la punta de la otra había una distancia de cuatro metros y medio.

La una ala del querubín tenía cinco codos, y la otra ala del querubín otros cinco codos: así que había diez codos desde la punta de la una ala hasta la punta de la otra.

And five cubits was the one wing of the cherub, and five cubits the other wing of the cherub: from the uttermost part of the one wing unto the uttermost part of the other were ten cubits.

Five cubits was the length of one wing of the cherub, and five cubits was the length of the other wing of the cherub. From the tip of one wing to the tip of the other was ten cubits.

El otro querubín el tamaño de sus alas era de cuatro metros y medio. Ambos querubines eran de la misma dimensión y forma.

Asimismo el otro querubín tenía diez codos; porque ambos querubines eran de un tamaño y de una hechura.

And the other cherub was ten cubits: both the cherubims were of one measure and one size.

La altura de un querubín era de cuatro metros y medio y el otro querubín era igual.

La altura del uno era de diez codos, y asimismo el otro.

The height of the one cherub was ten cubits, and so was it of the other cherub.

Salomón puso los querubines en el cuarto santísimo. Las alas de los querubines estaban estiradas, así que el ala de uno tocaba una pared y el ala del otro querubín tocaba la otra pared. Sus alas se tocaban una a otra en el medio del lugar santisimo

Y puso estos querubines dentro de la casa de adentro: los cuales querubines extendían sus alas, de modo que el ala del uno tocaba á la pared, y el ala del otro querubín tocaba á la otra pared, y las otras dos alas se tocaban la una á la otra en la mitad de la casa.

And he set the cherubims within the inner house: and they stretched forth the wings of the cherubims, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings touched one another in the midst of the house.

He set the cherubim within the inner house. The wings of the cherubim were stretched out, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings touched one another in the middle of the house.

Salomón cubrió los querubines con oro.

Él talló todas las palabras de la casa alrededor con figuras de querubín, árboles de palmas, y flores abiertas, dentro y fuera de los cuartos.

And he carved all the walls of the house round about with carved figures of cherubims and palm trees and open flowers, within and without.

Salomón cubrió el piso de la casa con oro, ambos, dentro y fuera de los cuartos.

Y cubrió de oro el piso de la casa, de dentro y de fuera.

And the floor of the house he overlaid with gold, within and without.

He overlaid the floor of the house with gold, inside and outside.

Salomón hizo puertas de madera de olivo para la entrada del cuarto interior. El dintel y los marcos de la puerta tenían cinco secciones.

Y á la entrada del oráculo hizo puertas de madera de oliva; y el umbral y los postes eran de cinco esquinas.

And for the entering of the oracle he made doors of olive tree: the lintel and side posts were a fifth part of the wall.

For the entrance of the inner sanctuary, he made doors of olive wood. The lintel and door posts were a fifth part of the wall.

Así que él hizo dos puerta de madera de olivo, y él hizo en ellas tallado de querubines, palmas y flores abiertas. Él las cubrió con oro y él les puso oro en los querubines y en las palmeras.

Las dos puertas eran de madera de oliva; y entalló en ellas figuras de querubines y de palmas y de botones de flores, y cubriólas de oro: cubrió también de oro los querubines y las palmas.

The two doors also were of olive tree; and he carved upon them carvings of cherubims and palm trees and open flowers, and overlaid them with gold, and spread gold upon the cherubims, and upon the palm trees.

So he made two doors of olive wood; and he carved on them carvings of cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers, and overlaid them with gold. He spread the gold on the cherubim and on the palm trees.

De esta manera, hizo también, marcos para la entrada del templo de madera de olivo con cuatro secciones lisas y con dos puertas de madera de ciprés.

Igualmente hizo á la puerta del templo postes de madera de oliva cuadrados.

So also made he for the door of the temple posts of olive tree, a fourth part of the wall.

He also made the entrance of the temple door posts of olive wood, out of a fourth part of the wall,

Las dos hojas de una de las puertas se doblaban y también las dos hojas de la otra puerta se doblaban.

Pero las dos puertas eran de madera de haya; y los dos lados de la una puerta eran redondos, y los otros dos lados de la otra puerta también redondos.

And the two doors were of fir tree: the two leaves of the one door were folding, and the two leaves of the other door were folding.

and two doors of cypress wood. The two leaves of the one door were folding, and the two leaves of the other door were folding.

Él talló en ellas querubines, palmeras y flores abiertas, y cubrió con oro el trabajo tallado.

Y entalló en ellas querubines y palmas y botones de flores, y cubriólas de oro ajustado á las entalladuras.

And he carved thereon cherubims and palm trees and open flowers: and covered them with gold fitted upon the carved work.

Él construyó la parte interior con tres filas de piedra cortada y una fila de vigas de cedro.

And he built the inner court with three rows of hewed stone, and a row of cedar beams.

Los cimientos de la casa del SEÑOR fueron hechos en el cuarto año, en el mes de Zif.

En el cuarto año, en el mes de Ziph, se echaron los cimientos de la casa de Jehová:

In the fourth year was the foundation of the house of the LORD laid, in the month Zif:

The foundation of the LORD’s house was laid in the fourth year, in the month Ziv.

En el año once, en el mes de Bul, el cual es el mes ocho, la casa fue terminada en todas sus partes y conforme a todas las especificaciones. A Salomón le tomó siete años construir el templo.

Y en el undécimo año, en el mes de Bul, que es el mes octavo, fué acabada la casa con todas sus pertenencias, y con todo lo necesario. Edificóla pues, en siete años.

And in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all the parts thereof, and according to all the fashion of it. So was he seven years in building it.
