So wollest du denn deinem Knechte ein verständiges Herz geben, dein Volk zu regieren und zu unterscheiden, was gut und böse ist; denn wer vermöchte sonst dieses dein gewaltiges Volk zu regieren?

Da pues á tu siervo corazón dócil para juzgar á tu pueblo, para discernir entre lo bueno y lo malo: porque ¿quién podrá gobernar este tu pueblo tan grande?

Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?

Give your servant therefore an understanding heart to judge your people, that I may discern between good and evil; for who is able to judge this great people of yours?”
