E fu riferito al re Salomone, come Gioab si era rifugiato nel tabernacolo del Signore, e si stava presso all'altare. E Salomone mandò Banaia figliuolo di Joiada, e dissegli: Va, e uccidilo.
Y fué hecho saber á Salomón que Joab había huído al tabernáculo de Jehová, y que estaba junto al altar. Entonces envió Salomón á Benaía hijo de Joiada, diciendo: Ve, y da sobre él.
And it was told king Solomon that Joab was fled unto the tabernacle of the LORD; and, behold, he is by the altar. Then Solomon sent Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, saying, Go, fall upon him.
King Solomon was told, “Joab has fled to the LORD’s Tent; and behold, he is by the altar.” Then Solomon sent Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, saying, “Go, fall on him.”
