Als nun das Gerücht davon zu Joab drang - Joab hatte nämlich zu Adonia gehalten, während er nicht zu Absalom gehalten hatte -, floh Joab zum Zelt des Herrn und fasste die Hörner des Altars.
Y vino la noticia hasta Joab: porque también Joab se había adherido á Adonía, si bien no se había adherido á Absalom. Y huyó Joab al tabernáculo de Jehová, y asióse á los cornijales del altar.
Then tidings came to Joab: for Joab had turned after Adonijah, though he turned not after Absalom. And Joab fled unto the tabernacle of the LORD, and caught hold on the horns of the altar.
This news came to Joab; for Joab had followed Adonijah, although he didn’t follow Absalom. Joab fled to the LORD’s Tent, and held onto the horns of the altar.
