Als aber das Gerücht bis zu Joab gedrungen war, - denn Joab hatte sich an Adonia angeschlossen, während er sich an Absalom nicht angeschlossen hatte, - da floh Joab zum Zelte Jahwes und erfasste die Hörner des Altars.
Y vino la noticia hasta Joab: porque también Joab se había adherido á Adonía, si bien no se había adherido á Absalom. Y huyó Joab al tabernáculo de Jehová, y asióse á los cornijales del altar.
Then tidings came to Joab: for Joab had turned after Adonijah, though he turned not after Absalom. And Joab fled unto the tabernacle of the LORD, and caught hold on the horns of the altar.
This news came to Joab; for Joab had followed Adonijah, although he didn’t follow Absalom. Joab fled to the LORD’s Tent, and held onto the horns of the altar.
